Kingdom Mission Society uses film as a means of convening meaningful dialogues and encounters on Christian Unity, Reconciliation, Racial Justice, Peacemaking, Ecumenism, Refugees, Christian Persecution, Immigration, Religious Liberty, and the Social Safety Net. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity come join the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arlington, the United Methodist Church, the Episcopal Church, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as we commemorate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. January 18-25. Date and service TBD.

MLK 50 Congregations During the 50th Anniversary join Grace and Race Ministries and KMS as we host dialogues on racial unity and justice in honor of the 50th Anniversary of MLK’s death. We’ll be using a PBS series to help jump start this local conversation. January 24-27. Dates and Times TBD.

Peacemaking Series February 19th and 20th 2018 KMS visits the Mount Academy and the Bruderhof Community in Esopsus, New York to discuss Christian approaches to Peacemaking and screen the film The Sultan and the Saint and what lessons St. Francis might have for us today.

Consortium of Evangelicals and Pentecostals for Christian Unity (CEN). KMS and Act 3 Network Training on Formal and Missional Ecumenism. April 14 2018-April 20 2018National Workshop for Christian Unity. CEN joins their colleagues from the Episcopal Church, the Roman Catholic Church, the United Methodist Church, and Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for a week long gathering focused on Christian Unity. On Monday CEN conducts an all day training for Evangelicals and Pentecostals (scholarships are available and all are welcome). Throughout the week CEN will participate with the other networks present in formal and informal ways.
