Here are events for the DC metro region for February & March 2017

Racial Reconciliation

Join a faith and film discussion at Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. Have you seen the hit movie “Fences”? Then come join the Christian Life Institute’s Digging Deep: Unearthing the Spiritual Truths in “Fences,” a discussion that’s part of our Faith and Film series. Facilitator will be Riley Temple, author of the new book, “Aunt Ester’s Children Redeemed: Journey to Freedom in August Wilson’s Ten Plays of Twentieth Century Black America.” Come with your questions and insights for what promises to be a lively conversation about the works of one of America’s most prolific playwrights.
